Sara Shadwick '24

Sara Shadwick is a Client Reporting Analyst on the Finance team at Pretium in New York City. Pretium is an alternative investment manager with $59B+ AUM that aims to deliver value through one of the largest residential real estate investment ecosystems, as well as corporate and structured credit investment strategies. Here, Sara focuses on strategic investor reporting, data consolidation, and investor portal implementation projects. Before full time at Pretium, Sara interned there as a Fund Controller Intern on the Finance team.
At Furman, Sara graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Business Administration major and Visual Strategy minor in 2024. She was president of Residential Life Council, which focused on bettering the experiences of students at Furman. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and served on the executive board as the Vice President of Membership Experience. Additionally, she was a Pathways Peer Mentor, teaching classes about transitioning to college to freshman twice a week. She did a May semester in Prague, studying the flourishing democracy of the Czech Republic post-Soviet rule. She also studied International Business in northern Italy for a full-term semester.
Outside of work, she is a co-founder to her family’s seasonal startup charity, “Direct2Kids”, delivering coats, hat, gloves, socks, underwear, and toys to 400+ underprivileged children in the mountains of eastern Kentucky at Christmas every year. This was started in 2016.
